About

The story behind Aluna

Our four tiny houses at Aluna are designed to offer a comfortable and functional stay while staying closely connected to nature. Each house is set slightly apart, creating a sense of privacy while still being part of the shared atmosphere of the property.

Vision about Aluna

Aluna started with a simple idea: to create a place where people can connect with nature while staying productive and inspired.

Life by the ocean follows a different rhythm. Surfing, working remotely, slowing down and spending time outdoors naturally become part of the day.

Aluna is designed as a small and intentional space where travelers, surfers and digital nomads can experience this balance between work, nature and a slower pace of life.

Sustainability

Living close to nature also means respecting it. The entire property at Aluna is powered by solar energy, providing reliable electricity while reducing our environmental impact. Our goal is to create a place that lives in harmony with its surroundings and supports a slower, more conscious way of traveling.

Location

Aluna is located in Aserradores, a small coastal village on Nicaragua’s northern Pacific coast. The area is best known for El Boom, one of Nicaragua’s most powerful beach breaks, attracting surfers from around the world. At the same time, the surrounding coastline offers quieter beaches and waves for all levels. Aserradores remains a peaceful place where fishing boats leave early in the morning and sunsets are still something people stop to watch.
